How We Use Your Information
- To process your order, activate your subscription and send your login details.
- To provide customer support and respond to your messages.
- To send important service messages, such as renewal reminders and updates about your subscription.

Legal Bases for Processing
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we rely on the following legal bases:
- Contract: to provide the subscription you have purchased and support you.
- Legitimate interests: to secure and improve our service and prevent misuse, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Consent: for optional marketing messages and non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: to keep financial records and respond to lawful requests.
WhatsApp Communications
We use WhatsApp, a service provided by Meta, to take orders and provide support. When you message us on WhatsApp, your messages are also processed by WhatsApp in line with its own privacy policy and terms. Please avoid sending sensitive information, such as full card details, over chat.
Who We Share Your Data With
We never sell your personal data. We only share it with:
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, payment processing, messaging and analytics providers, under contracts that protect your data.
- Professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, where necessary.
- Authorities, where we are required to do so by law.
International Transfers
Some of our service providers, including WhatsApp, may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
How Long We Keep Your Data
- Subscription and support data: for as long as you are a customer, and for up to 12 months afterwards so we can help with renewals and questions.
- Financial records: for six years, as required by Irish tax law.

When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it securely.
Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Have inaccurate data corrected.
- Have your data erased, where there is no good reason for us to keep it.
- Restrict or object to how we process your data.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@filmmakersnetwork.com. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission in Ireland (dataprotection.ie) or the supervisory authority in your country.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies, small text files stored on your device:
- Essential cookies make the website work properly and cannot be switched off.
- Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the website so we can improve it. We only use these with your consent.
You can manage or withdraw your cookie consent at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings.
